Emma Flanagan

Emma Flanagan is a gastroenterologist and clinician researcher at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. She underwent intestinal ultrasound training in Milan, Italy in 2017. Emma has completed a PhD in IBD and pregnancy, including prospective research describing the utility of intestinal ultrasound for the assessment of disease activity during pregnancy. She continues to lead the IBD and Pregnancy clinic at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne as well as ongoing clinical research studies in this field.
